Today I learned, asos.com has a policy where if you use a promo code for say 15% off orders of 200+ and then you return an item that would bring your total to under 200, they take away all of your discount from your refund! They also do not allow international exchanges. I just found this out today, since I was trying to return and then reorder that black velvet dress from this previous post. I personally hate it when stores have policies like this, and did not know that asos.com was one of them. I know Nine West also has this same policy, when I tried to return a pair of shoes I bought with a promo code. Since it was a buy 2 pairs, get 20% off, they wanted to charge me full price for the second pair I bought if I returned the first one. So lame.
It's my fault for not reading the fine print on these promos (is this even written in the fine print?), but policies like this make me not want to buy from these stores. Especially when shopping online, it's difficult to know what fits or how the fabric feels on your body without getting to touch the product in real life. I just wanted everyone to be aware. It gives me something to think about when ordering. I don't like it when returns are a hassle or when shady things like this happen.
Now that I've gotten that business out of the way, time for the fun stuff. Black Friday is coming up! I made a little list of some sales from my favorite stores.
